Legal & Export Restrictions Policy

This policy outlines the limitations and responsibilities regarding the use, distribution, and export of our services, intellectual property, and physical goods (where applicable).

1. Intellectual Property (IP) Use

All original content, designs, source code, visual assets, methodologies, and training materials provided by Just Ask Katy remain our intellectual property until formally transferred or licensed to the client through a separate service agreement.

• Design & Brand Assets: Upon completion and full payment of Brand Development or Design Services, ownership of the finalized, client-approved assets (e.g., logo, brand guides) is transferred to the client for their intended business use. We retain the right to use such assets in our promotional portfolio.

• Methodologies & Training: You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use our consulting methodologies and training materials solely for your internal business or personal growth. Reproduction or resale of our consulting materials is strictly prohibited.

2. Export and Sanctions Compliance

Clients must comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations, including those of the United States and any other relevant jurisdiction, concerning the delivery or use of our services.

• Restricted Entities: We will not conduct business, provide services, or transfer technology or sensitive information to any individual, entity, or country/region subject to U.S., E.U., or other international economic sanctions or embargoes.

• Compliance Responsibility: The client is responsible for ensuring that their use of our services and any resulting intellectual property complies with all local and international laws, including restrictions on export, re-export, or transfer of technology.

3. Client Liability

By engaging our services, you affirm that you will not use our deliverables (IT support solutions, brand assets, or consulting advice) for any unlawful or unethical purpose, including, but not limited to:

• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of a third party.

• Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive business practices.

• Violating any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate services if we determine that a client is violating this policy or operating in breach of established laws or ethical standards.
